Initial Setup

First we will extract the Trillian program files to a temporary directory and work with it there to make it potable. When finished, we will copy the contents of this folder to your portable media

1. Login to the Members Area and download Trillian Pro.
2. Run the installation file. If you have Trillian running, click Yes when it warns you about opening a second instance of Trillian. Install Trillian to c:\temptrill and uncheck all options
   Click Yes when asked to create the directory. When finished, click Done.
3. Login to the Members Area and download the latest patch for Trillian Pro.
4. Run the installer for the patches, and make sure to enter c:\temptrill for the location. (See the image below. The image may or may not represent the most recently released patch!)
